Worked examples

Long-form creative writing session

A 20,000-token prompt generates a 2,000-token story. Input cost: $0.25 * 0.02 = $0.005. Output cost: $1.00 * 0.002 = $0.002. Total: $0.007.

Technical documentation summarization

A 50,000-token documentation set is summarized into a 5,000-token output. Input cost: $0.25 * 0.05 = $0.0125. Output cost: $1.00 * 0.005 = $0.005. Total: $0.0175.

High-volume data classification

Processing 100,000 input tokens with a 10,000 token output. Input cost: $0.25 * 0.1 = $0.025. Output cost: $1.00 * 0.01 = $0.01. Total: $0.035.

Transparent Mistral API Pricing

We charge strictly for the tokens processed by our uncensored model. There are no monthly subscriptions, no hidden fees, and no tiered pricing structures. You pay a flat rate for input tokens and a flat rate for output tokens, calculated per million tokens.

Input tokens are charged at $0.25 per million tokens, while output tokens are charged at $1.00 per million tokens. This pricing model allows you to calculate the exact cost of any workload before you send a request. For example, a simple 1,000-token prompt and 500-token response will cost less than a tenth of a cent.

Our pricing is designed for developers who want predictable costs without the complexity of enterprise contracts. Unlike other platforms that bundle features like image generation or embeddings, we focus solely on high-performance text generation. This specialization keeps our base rates competitive and straightforward.

Prepaid Credit & Bonuses

To use the API, you add credit to your account. The minimum top-up is $10, payable by credit card or cryptocurrency. Your prepaid balance never expires, so you can use it whenever you need it without worrying about service interruptions due to payment lapses.

We offer bonus credits for larger top-ups to reward heavier usage. When you add $50 or more, you receive a 5% bonus. Adding $100 or more grants a 10% bonus. These bonuses are applied to your balance immediately and can be used for API requests just like your base credit. This structure encourages efficient resource management for power users.

Trial Credit & Constraints

New accounts receive $0.50 in trial credit, valid for 7 days. No credit card or phone number is required to start. This allows you to test the uncensored model's quality and integration with your code before committing to a paid plan.

Our rate limit is 300 requests per minute per key. This is sufficient for most development and moderate production workloads. If you exceed the limit, requests will be temporarily rejected. You can regenerate your API key at any time, which revokes the old key and issues a new one, useful if you suspect a leak or want to reset your session.

Questions and answers

Do I need to pay monthly?

No. We do not charge monthly fees. You add credit to your account, and we deduct the cost of your API requests from that balance. Your balance does not expire, so you can use it whenever you need it.

How do I get started with the trial?

Sign up for an account using your email and a password. You will receive $0.50 in trial credit immediately, valid for 7 days. No credit card is required to start testing the API.

What happens if I exceed my prepaid balance?

If your balance reaches zero, your API key will stop working until you add more credit. You can top up your account at any time via credit card or cryptocurrency to resume service.

Do you charge for unused tokens?

Yes, you are charged for every token processed, whether it is part of the prompt or the completion. If the model generates a response, you pay for those output tokens. If the response is cut off due to a limit, you still pay for the tokens generated.
